Introducing the Canvas: Rhodes' newest venue
The Rhodes Peninsula is set to welcome a brand-new community venue from Monday, 20 October 2025.
In addition to a brand-new gym and crèche, group fitness studios, indoor sports courts, a gymnastics centre, community lounge and café, Rhodes Recreation Centre will include a brand-new, versatile venue known as The Canvas.
What is The Canvas?
The Canvas is a light-filled, multipurpose room designed to host a variety of community activities—from workshops and classes to meetings and creative projects. Its flexible layout makes it the perfect place for groups to connect, collaborate, and create.

- Spacious and versatile at approximately 102m²
