The Canvas and Community Lounge are located on the ground floor of Rhodes Recreation Centre.
The Canvas accommodates up to 49 people and is suited to meetings, workshops and small-scale events.
Adjacent to The Canvas, the Community Lounge accommodates up to 154 people and is available to hire alongside The Canvas Mondays to Wednesdays from 4–10pm. It is suited to larger meetings, presentations, social gatherings and small-scale performances.

- The event must be held on a weekday (Monday to Friday) between 1 July 2026 and 31 December 2026 (inclusive).
- The promotion applies to Rhodes Recreation Centre, The Canvas, only.
- Hirers must use code RRC20 at time of booking for the promotion to be applied.
- Availability is subject to existing bookings.
- The 20% discount applies to the existing venue hire room fee only.
- The discount does not apply to: Bond/security deposits, insurance, any other costs.
- The discount cannot be applied retrospectively to existing or previously confirmed bookings.
- If a booking is transferred to a date outside the promotional period, the discount will no longer apply.
- All other venue hire terms and conditions apply.
- Council reserves the right to amend or withdraw the promotion at any time without notice.
- The promotion is not redeemable for cash and is non-transferable.
