Gymnastics

Our Gymnastics programs build strength, coordination, flexibility and confidence in a fun and supportive environment.

Younger gymnasts develop fundamental movement skills, while older children may progress into artistic gymnastics if they choose and demonstrate the required skills.

Classes are led by qualified, experienced instructors in our brand-new, purpose-built gymnastics space.

Our programs

Rollers is a guardian-assisted class for children from walking to 2 years old.

The program develops balance, fine and gross motor skills, and confidence in a safe, structured, multi-sensory environment, enhancing social skills and cooperation with other children.

This class is 45 minutes in length and involves free play, music, games and two gymnastics circuits.

Jumpers is a program for children aged 5 to 6 years to explore gymnastics through fun, circuit-based activities each week.

Participants learn fundamentals while navigating exciting equipment setups that develop their physical abilities and teamwork. The class follows a sequential beginner-level program aligned with skills assessed throughout the term.

Springers is a program for gymnasts aged 7 to 8 years to participate in a variety of movement patterns at beginner to intermediate levels, building on the skills introduced in Jumpers.

They develop skill extensions through circuits and stations designed to boost confidence while keeping the learning experience fun and engaging. The class follows a sequential program aligned with the skills assessed throughout the term.

Twisters is a class for children aged 8 to 12 who want to pursue competitive gymnastics at a recreational level.

Participants ideally progress through the recreational programs from Jumpers to Springers, though prior experience is not required. The program involves increased training, with sessions held two days per week, focusing on learning individual skills on vault, bars, beam, and floor, then linking them into short sequences or routines. These routines are presented to coaches and, where applicable, judges, with marks awarded. Training is conducted in a fun, friendly, and relaxed environment, helping gymnasts perform routines confidently.

This class is one hour in length, twice per week.

Tumblers is a program for children aged 9 to 12 and serves as an extension of the Springers class, equipping gymnasts with the skills needed to progress in recreational gymnastics.

The class provides dedicated time to refine technique and deepen understanding of the skills being practised. Children are challenged each week to improve coordination and execution, and those who progress quickly may be offered a place in our Twisters program.

This class is one hour in length.

There is an option to attend two Tumblers classes per week.

Teen Gymnastics focuses on the foundational skills of artistic gymnastics at a beginner to intermediate level.
